Betpanda is a crypto betting site and casino that launched in 2023. Sportsbook runs on BETBY (same engine as BC.Game and other big crypto books), and the casino is a properly modern setup with exclusive games and the biggest providers in the industry. Both product sides are genuinely competitive.

The issue here is licensing. Betpanda operates without a proper gambling licence, which is the fundamental issue you’ll need to weigh against everything else before playing here.

The Licence Problem

Betpanda’s operator is Star Bright Media S.R.L., a company registered in Costa Rica. There’s no Curaçao, Anjouan, MGA, or any other actual gambling licence published on site, and we even double checked the official license register on each of these regulators – nothing.

The Costa Rica business registration is a growing trend among offshore betting sites – many of these sites often present the Costa Rica company registration as if it were a real gambling licence, but of course it isn’t. The country doesn’t even issue online gambling licences.

Practically speaking playing here you’re running the risk of playing at any other shady/unlicensed bookmaker. If a deposit goes missing, a bonus doesn’t activate, or a withdrawal stalls, there’s no regulator to escalate to. They deserve some credit for at least being transparent about their operator, but that doesn’t erase the issue.

The brand also lists the Argentina Men’s National Football Team as an official partner, likely in an effort to gain some credibility, but it’s not saying much. The team has a long list of gambling partners and clearly isn’t vetting each one closely.

If there was more of a reputation to go on maybe our tone would be a bit different, but the 2023 launch date is another factor here. That combination (no licence + short reputation) means we don’t think Betpanda has earned full trust yet.

Payments are Pure Crypto

Payments here are crypto only, and you’re not even able to purchase crypto directly on site. Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, LTC, XRP, DOGE, BNB, USDC, SOL, TRX, TON, and SHIB are all available. Deposits are quick, usually a few minutes. No extra fees from Betpanda’s side beyond the blockchain cost.

Withdrawals are always the risky part, especially for a young and unlicensed book. Small withdrawals typically process without issue, but larger amounts can trigger manual checks or sudden KYC requests. Preset caps are €5,000 per day, €15,000 per week, and €45,000 per month. Fine thresholds for casual players, but significant lower than the best bitcoin bookmakers.

Betpanda’s Sportsbook Is Class

Betpanda’s sportsbook runs on BETBY, which we rate as one of the best providers out there. It comes with a dedicated racing section (horses, greyhounds, harness) and a prediction markets section on top of the standard sportsbook menu. One thing you won’t find elsewhere: Betpanda Predictions, a section with a handful of unique markets not carried by other BETBY books.

Odds are competitive for live and prematch events. In our testing they matched BC.Game 1:1, which is another BETBY-powered book. The difference is that BC.Game has a proper licence and a real track record. If you’re deciding between them based on the sportsbook alone, the product is near-identical and BC.Game wins on trust. Their sister site JB Casino is another option worth looking at if you want something newer with a proper licence attached.

Casino Is Just As Strong

Another nice feature in the Betpanda casino is their own set of original games, roughly 15 titles in total covering the usual usual games: crash, mines, blackjack, chicken cross, limbo, and so on.

The originals themselves aren’t a reason to sign up here, but they do signal is that the operator is at least paying attention to what modern crypto casinos are doing. The titles themselves don’t come close to what Stake or Gamdom offer in their selection of original and exclusive games.

Should You Sign Up At Betpanda?

Betpanda has a genuinely strong product on both the sportsbook and casino side. BETBY makes the sportsbook competitive on pricing and variety, and the casino genuinely competes with the biggest names in the crypto casino space.

Trust is the overarching issue here. There’s no proper gambling licence and it’s still a young brand with no meaningful reputation. If you’re going to bet at a crypto offshore site, we’d sooner recommend any of the options on our list of bitcoin betting sites. If you want a specific recommendation BC.Game is an obvious one since the sportsbook is identical. JB Casino is another fresh option worth looking at.
