Winamax is great for poker, but they deserve some more credit for their sportsbook offer. It’s worth holding an account here, especially for those shopping lines on football.

Winamax recently updated their welcome bonus to €100 first bet refund in cash + an additional €250 in bonuses to be earned by playing poker. It’s a welcomed update, as it’s one of the few refund offers available in cash opposed to free bets. New customers who deposit €10+, wager €10+, and lose their first bet will be receive a 100% refund up to €100 in withdrawal-able cash. It’s a great offer that we recommend taking, but the poker bonus is a different story.
The terms surrounding the additional €250 in bonuses are convoluted to say the least. To unlock the bonus, you need to accumulate what Winamax calls “miles”. Miles can be earned in poker tournaments, cash games, and by betting on sports. But for this bonus, you need to accumulate miles only by playing poker.
- Poker Tournaments: 4 miles per €1 of rake
- Poker Cash Games: 3 miles per €1 of rake
- 30 Miles = €1 in bonus
Miles are paid out at a rate of 10% of your initial deposit. So, if you made a first deposit of €100, you need to accumulate 300 miles to receive a €10 bonus, 600 miles for an additional €10, and so on. Using this example, you will need to accumulate 7,500 miles to claim the bonus in full.
Overall the cash back bonus is a no brainer. The poker bonus is a nice addition but we don’t recommend chasing it.
