The site operates under local activity licences HKT000060 and HKT000111, plus operating licences HKL000373 and HKL000536. On paper this bookie is on the same regulatory footing as any other locally licensed book, but their user-facing product will leave most local bettors frustrated.

The main issue we have with KumoBet is that this is just another white-label operator. There’s nothing unique here, and some features make us think that they’re not actually interested in becoming a serious player in the Estonian market. For example, new players from Finland or even Canada can claim a free bet welcome bonus, but players in Estonia only have the option to claim a casino bonus, albeit a lousy one. There are also no mobile apps for iOS or Android.

More issues pop up when you scan through the T&Cs. There are withdrawal fees, winnings above €40,000 are paid in instalments with no interest, and the minimum withdrawal is set to €50, which is considerably higher than what other new entrants like Luckybet ask for. We also spotted a few typos and clumsy grammar mistakes which just isn’t something you’d find at a serious operator.

This is the one shining light at KumoBet. Now we’re not saying it’s industry or even market leading, but they do a good job with variety across slots, crash games, and live casino.

There are some big omissions, for example no games from Pragmatic Play or Hacksaw, but big names aren’t completely absent. You’ll find a near full catalogue from BGaming, Thunderkick, and Booming Games.
