BET99 markets themselves as the #1 online gaming experience in Canada, which isn’t true, but it’s not as far off as Pizza Pizza calling themselves the best pizzeria in Canada. The brand’s been around since 2020, and most of you will remember their launch due to an aggressive marketing campaign. Remember how many commercials they ran during Raptors and Leafs games?!

They’ve cooled off a bit on the marketing in recent years, but they’re still probably one of the first sites you think of when looking for Canadian bookmakers. The site is licensed by iGaming Ontario and Kahnawake Gaming Commission, making them available and a fully legal option to Canucks in all provinces and territories. In addition to the proper licences, BET99 has official partnerships with TSN, NHL, NBA Canada, BPM Montreal, and Live Nation.

Legitimacy is about as good as it can get, but with so many options available nowadays, it doesn’t make BET99 an obvious first choice. This review will reveal exactly what you can expect from BET99 and whether they’re worth it in 2026.

What Can You Bet on at BET99?

BET99 prioritizes sports that Canadians bet on the most: NHL, NFL, and NBA get the best coverage and are common features in sportsbook promos. You can expect the usual markets on all sports like 1×2, moneyline/puck line, spreads, totals, and player props. You’ll also find some less popular markets like player milestones and even powerplay points for hockey bets.

But generally speaking, these additional markets are more limited than you’d find at bet365 or Sports Interaction. There’s also no Asian markets (totals or half-point spreads), which is a pretty big miss for those betting on soccer. It’s a feature that many European betting sites offer, and it clearly gives them an edge over BET99.

It’s a well-rounded offering with many global leagues supported across all sports. But there are some notable omissions. There’s no horse racing, greyhounds, or trotting, making it a thinner offer than many of the top international betting sites. What’s BET99’s Casino Like?

BET99 splits their casino categories into 2 sections: Casino and Live Casino. The former is dedicated to slots and virtual table games, while the latter is dedicated to live casino tables and game show titles. Let’s have a closer look.

The strategy here seems to be quality over quantity, which is something I can appreciate. Major providers like Pragmatic, Hacksaw, and Play’n GO are front and centre, along with several BET99 exclusive titles. Navigation is smooth and the games load quickly on both mobile and desktop.

There are two glaring weaknesses in BET99’s casino:

1. Missing some major slot providers. There are no games from BGaming, ELK, Nolimit City, or NetEnt.
2. Basically no crash games. The only crash title available is “FlyX”, a BET99 exclusive. No Aviator, AviaMasters, ChickenCross, or any other major crash titles for that matter.

The virtual table games (like roulette and blackjack) are solid. If you’re not interested in crash games, and mostly play Pragmatic and/or Hacksaw slots, the casino section will suit you fine. Those always on the hunt for new games will be left disappointed.

BET99 Live Casino

Much better offering than the standard casino. The highlight is exclusive live tables for roulette and blackjack, along with major Pragmatic game shows like Money Time. Bet sizes across baccarat, blackjack, and roulette range from $0.01 to $10,000, so it’s a good fit for both casual and VIP players.

Our main grievance is the lack of Evolution live games, which are considered the best in the industry.

Still, it’s a quality live casino section and one that I rate 8/10. It doesn’t deliver the variety you’d find at Jackpot City or BC.Game, but it’s still a solid offering.

What Do You Need to Know About Payments?

Payment methods are no issue here. Interac, bank transfers and cards, MuchBetter, and InstaDebit are all available for deposit and withdrawal. You can deposit via Apple Pay as well, but it hasn’t yet been integrated as a withdrawal method.

Sadly, there are withdrawal limits, which are quite low, especially for high rollers. All players are capped at 3 withdrawals per day and 7 withdrawals per month, which is just too tight a restriction. On top of that, there are caps on total withdrawals of $10k per day, $25k per week, and $50k per month. These levels can be increased based on your VIP level, but for baseline policies these terms are pretty disappointing.

As for withdrawal time, there’s no time limit specified in the BET99 T&Cs. Instead, they promise to “transfer your funds to you as swiftly as possible”. Though after scanning Reddit, Trustpilot, and some other user review platforms, withdrawal speed isn’t a major complaint.
