BetaBets Review

BetaBets is one of many new betting site launches we’re tracking here at List Of All Bookmakers. The site’s live at betabets.com.au as a Coming Soon page, with no preregistration or launch date announced. It’s on the ACMA register under an established Victorian bookmaker, so the licence is sorted, but mostly everything else is unknown.

BetaBets is the next online book from William Graham, and his last one, BetStride, didn’t hang around long. That’s the reason to be cautious here rather than excited.

Who’s Behind BetaBets?

BetaBets is licensed to William Graham (Bill Graham), an established Victorian bookmaker under a VGCCC licence. His ABR profile also carries the name BetStride, and that’s the tell here. BetStride was another of his online books which ran on BetCloud software from October 2025 through to April 2026 before quietly shutting up shop, and it’s since dropped off the ACMA register entirely.

There’s nothing wrong with a bookmaker launching another book (plenty do) but one that lasted about six months last time is a reason to wait and see rather than rush in.

What We’re Expecting

We don’t know the software yet, but BetStride ran on BetCloud, so the safe assumption is BetaBets does the same. If it does, expect a familiar BetCloud book: fine for racing, a fairly generic sportsbook, and the same white-label feel you’ll get from a stack of other small Aussie bookies. Nothing you can’t already find elsewhere.

The more interesting outcome would be Bill switching platforms this time. A move to something like BetMakers or Generation Web would at least suggest he’s changed things up, but until the site’s live, it’s hopeful thinking.

Worth Waiting For?

Hard to get excited about this one just yet. The licensing is legit and Graham knows the bookmaking game, but BetStride didn’t last, and if BetaBets is another BetCloud skin there’s not much to set it apart. Best case scenario he’s back with better tech. Worst case it’s running back the BetStride playbook.
