Dafabet has a genuine point of difference with RaceLab integration and Sky Vision streaming, and it works well for recreational racing punters. But the $1,001 Multi Bet cap is a dealbreaker for anyone who bets seriously on multis, the iOS-only app locks out Android users, and the T&Cs contain a licence discrepancy that warrants attention. Worth considering for casual racing, not for punters who want high limits.
Dafabet has been a major name in Asian sports betting since 2004, and in June 2026 they launched dafabet.com.au as a dedicated Australian product. It comes with a couple of features that stand out from the crowd of the other new Aussie bookmakers: RaceLab form integration baked into the app, and Sky Vision live streaming so you can watch the races you’re betting on. There are also some things in the T&Cs that are worth knowing before you sign up.
The standout feature on dafabet.com.au is the RaceLab integration. RaceLab is a form and data platform built for serious racing punters, covering speed maps, sectionals, market moves, and barrier draws in one place. Having it inside the betting app rather than needing a separate tab is genuinely useful. Alongside that, Sky Vision live streaming covers the major Australian and New Zealand race meetings, so you’re not watching a race card update and hoping for the best.
On the sports side, the coverage is solid: AFL, NRL, NBA, EPL, and a decent range of international markets. Same Game Multis are available, which is now a must-have for any Australian bookie worth using. The platform is aimed squarely at racing-first punters who also want a credible sports option.
There’s an iOS app on the App Store, and an Android app, but too few reviews at this time to make any clear opinions about the brand. The RaceLab form data and Sky Vision streams are accessible in-app, which is the main reason to use it over a mobile browser.
The licensing picture here is worth reading carefully. According to the ACMA official register, Dafabet Australia holds a licence issued by Liquor & Gaming NSW. However, the T&Cs (dated May 2026) claim a Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) bookmaking registration and describe them as a member of the Victorian Bookmakers’ Association (VBA). The brand does not appear on the VBA’s public website. The T&Cs also reference Racing Victoria licensing conditions. There’s a clear discrepancy between what the T&Cs state and what the ACMA register shows, we’ve reflected the ACMA register as the authoritative source.
KYC is required within 14 days of account registration, using the standard 100-point ID check.
Debit card is the only listed deposit method as of now. No PayID, bank transfer, or crypto options are mentioned in the T&Cs or advertised on site. There’s a 1x turnover requirement before you can withdraw, which is a typical condition among all online bookmakers in the country.
Withdrawals go via the same debit card used to deposit, with a possible $25 withdrawal fee applied to international transfers. Dafabet can freeze withdrawals indefinitely pending an investigation, with no maximum timeframe stated in the their terms and conditions.
This is the most important section for serious punters. The caps are low compared to the major Australian books.
| Bet Type | Maximum Payout |
|---|---|
| Multi Bets (up to 20 legs, racing + sports) | $1,001 |
| Top Fluctuation / Best of the Best (racing) | $5,000 |
| Same Race Multi (AU/NZ thoroughbreds) | $15,000 |
| Same Race Multi (AU/NZ greyhounds) | $10,000 |
| Racing Exotics, metro thoroughbreds | $15,000 |
| Racing Exotics, non-metro / harness / greyhounds | $10,000 |
| Quaddies, metro thoroughbred | $25,000 |
| SP/tote win dividend, thoroughbreds | $101 |
| SP/tote win dividend, harness | $51 |
| SP/tote win dividend, greyhounds | $26 |
The $1,001 Multi Bet cap is the one that will affect the most punters. Most Australian bookies cap multis in the hundreds of thousands; $1,001 is well below industry standard and rules Dafabet out as a multi punter’s book. There’s no explicit sports max payout stated, but the book reserves the right to refuse or limit any bet at their discretion.
The global dafabet.com brand carries a significant volume of negative Trustpilot reviews, most relating to the Indian market operation. The Australian site is a separate product on a different domain, with its own Australian licence and operator entity. The two should not be conflated. That said, the T&Cs discrepancy noted above is a separate concern specific to the Australian product itself.
While you’ll find a quality racing product and competent sports coverage here, it’s not a bookmaker we recommend at this point in time. If you’re looking for a newer option, check out our new betting sites page, or our list of all bookmakers page to compare every legal bookie in Australia.
