From all the betting sites coming soon in Australia, we’re most excited about HueyBet. There’s no launch date or preregistration announced yet, but if you head to hueybet.com.au you’ll see a “Coming Soon, Something Exciting Is On The Way” holding page. They’re not on the ACMA register yet either, but are listed as a business name under Booki.com.au Pty Ltd, the company behind PonyBet and three other active Aussie betting sites, so the licensing just feels like a formality waiting to catch up now.

Booki runs a strong stable, and if HueyBet is built like its siblings, it should be one of the better new books to land this year.

Who’s Behind HueyBet?

HueyBet’s a Booki.com.au Pty Ltd brand (ABN 87 132 843 817), better known as The Booki Group. Booki already runs four books on a single Northern Territory licence: PonyBet, KnuckleBet, Betit and EarlyCrow, all on BetMakers software. HueyBet is registered as a business name under the same company, so it’s shaping up as brand number five. It’s still missing from the ACMA register so the NT licence isn’t a certainty here yet.

The man behind the wheel is Jason Scott, Booki Group CEO and one of the more serious players in Australian wagering. He was CEO of Ladbrokes Australia, spent time at BetMGM in the US running trading and VIP, and more recently ran Racing Queensland. The group has a formal partnership with BetMakers and has been open about launching a run of new brands through 2025 and 2026. HueyBet looks like the next of them.

What To Expect

Every Booki agency runs the same BetMakers setup, so HueyBet should land with same game and same race multis, live streaming, speed maps, form and insights, plus a racing product covering fixed odds, Best Tote, same race multis, quaddies and the daily double. Expect Racelab integration and Sky vision too, both of which the siblings carry.

The difference with this stable is that the siblings are genuinely good, not just serviceable. Here’s how punters rate them:

Worth Waiting For?

Yeah, this is one of the better previews on the board. Proper backing, an experienced and well respected operator, BetMakers software, and four sibling books that punters actually rate. This lot knows what they’re doing and aren’t focused on simply churning out throwaway skins.

The usual caveats apply. It’s not live, there’s no date, and it isn’t on the ACMA register yet, so there’s nothing to sign up for today.
