Licence(s)
VoltBet isn't accepting bets, there's no preregistration, there's not even a placeholder website live. What they do have sorted tells us that they might be coming soon: ACMA registration under a VGCCC licence, operated by Gavin Mansour who's got heaps of experience in Australia's wagering industry, and authorised by the Government of South Australia to take online bets. We expect the site to go live later in 2026 on BetCloud software with a sportsbook alongside markets on horses, harness racing, and greyhounds. Hop on our email list to get notified the day they go live.
VoltBet is licensed but not live yet
VoltBet is a new betting site we’re watching closely now that they’ve been added to the ACMA register under a Victorian licence. As of now, there’s still no website live and not even a placeholder landing page at voltbet.com.au.
The licence holder is Gavin Mansour, one half of the G & T Mansour partnership behind ChromaBet. If Gavin’s planning to run the same template on VoltBet, we already know roughly what’s coming. Everything here is a preview off ChromaBet’s record.

VoltBet’s licence sits with Gavin Mansour, registered on the ABR under ABN 68 158 841 244. That profile carries two business names, VoltBet and BetStation, though only VoltBet has made it onto the ACMA register so far. Gavin is one half of G & T Mansour (Gavin and Tracey Mansour), the Victorian on-course bookies who launched ChromaBet in October 2024, also under a VGCCC licence.
There’s a tick in the South Australian column too: VoltBet is approved as an authorised interstate betting operator (No 54301783, internet betting only). Sadly it’s not an indicator that the new betting site will launch anytime soon: the approval is nine months old now, being granted in September 2025.
Quick one to clear up: VoltBet has nothing to do with Voltage Bet, the offshore bookie and casino. Voltage Bet isn’t licensed to take bets in Australia. VoltBet is a separate, locally licensed brand.
If VoltBet is a ChromaBet stablemate, expect the BetCloud platform: same game and same race multis, blended bets, and a racing book with fixed odds, exotics, Top Tote, Best Tote and protest payouts. Apps on iOS and Android, same as ChromaBet.
Don’t get too excited yet. BetCloud is clean and easy to use, but it’s a more limited platform than the BetMakers and Generation Web setups behind a lot of newer books. ChromaBet reviews land lukewarm for that reason: a smooth app and fair racing odds, but thin sports markets, no live streaming and not much to set it apart. VoltBet will most likely be the same story. Here’s how punters rate ChromaBet’s apps:
| Site | Launched | iOS | Android |
|---|---|---|---|
| ChromaBet | October 2024 | 3.6 (15) | No ratings yet |
Maybe, but don’t expect anything groundbreaking. The licensing is legit, the operator has run ChromaBet for well over a year without drama, and there’s no connection to anything dodgy. But BetCloud is middling and ChromaBet is pretty unremarkable, so expect competent rather than exciting.
There’s nothing to join today regardless. No live site, no launch date, just a licence and some paperwork. Bookmark this page or jump on the email list and we’ll flag it the second it opens.
